About this project
This project grew from a simple idea: a farm has several everyday tasks that can be represented through electronics and control logic. I brought three of them into one model: automatic irrigation, a food dispenser and an RFID-controlled entrance.
The model gave me a way to look at automation as a connected system rather than a collection of separate features. Water delivery, dispensing and entry control each serve a different purpose, but all need a clear relationship between an input, a control decision and an output.
I enjoyed the practical side of combining those functions in one physical model. The project strengthened my understanding of how a microcontroller can coordinate different tasks, while keeping each part of the system understandable. It is a demonstration of the automation concept, rather than a claim of commercial farm performance.
What it does
- Automatic irrigation within a farm model
- A dedicated food-dispensing function
- RFID-based access at the model entrance
- Several automation functions coordinated by a microcontroller
